THE CITY OF ŠIBENIK
At the mouth of the magnificent Krka river stands the city that has around 47.000 inhabitants and is the cultural, educational, administrative and economic centre of the County of Šibenik and Knin.
As the oldest native Croatian town on the shores of the sea, Šibenik has a rich cultural heritage that greatly contributes to its charm. The central church in Šibenik, the Cathedral of St. James, is on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
In the city of Šibenik there are four fortresses, each providing a spectacular view over the city, sea and nearby islands, and each of them with unique and attractive tourist offers.
STUNNING NATURE
But the most stunning, as always, is the nature itself. About 18 kilometres north of the city is the Krka National Park, renowned for its many waterfalls, spectacular flora and fauna, and full of historical and archaeological remains.
Another natural attraction are Kornati, archipelago of 150 islands in a sea area of about 320 km2 making it the densest archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea. Sailing through Kornati and admiring these rich natural beauties is something you will never forget.

is a small-pebbled beach near the center of Šibenik, with a view of the old town of Šibenik. It has small pebbles, that are perfect especially for small children, and also offers multiple water attractions also for sport lovers. Banj beach has the international Blue Flag award for the cleanness of the sea.

are a part of the Solaris Beach Resort, a popular resort for families. It is located around 8 km from Šibenik and its beaches are considered among the best beaches in Croatia.
