THE CITY OF ŠIBENIK
At the mouth of the magnificent Krka river stands the city that has around 47.000 inhabitants and is the cultural, educational, administrative and economic centre of the County of Šibenik and Knin.
As the oldest native Croatian town on the shores of the sea, Šibenik has a rich cultural heritage that greatly contributes to its charm. The central church in Šibenik, the Cathedral of St. James, is on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
